This is one of my first Ontario paintings in watercolour. After four summers out east our first child, Lyndon, was born. I realized my sojourns to St. Andrews by-the-Sea would come to an end. I painted this scene of Elora from beneath one of the bridges in town. The Elora Mill can be seen in the top left hand corner.
